Lazzoni Furniture brings together the Young Turkish Designers in New York

Lazzoni Furniture’s New York Store hosted an important event within the scope of ICFF Furniture Exhibition in the USA. In the event organized by American Turkish Society-ATS, the young Turkish designers living in New York had an opportunity to meet. The architect/designer Ali Tayar participated at the event which attracted young designers and famous figures of the world of design as the guest speaker and panel chairman. The American press and Anadolu Ajansı covered the event.

Young designers Rozit Arditi, Koray Duman, Ufuk Keskin, Münire Kırmacı and Efecem Kütük, participating in the event which attracted both Turkish and foreign designers alike, talked about the effect of Turkish and American cultures on their careers and how they developed their careers as designers in New York. Gaye Çevikel, the creator of Gaia&Gino brand, was among the participants and she conversed with the designers and guests and shared the story of her brand. In his speech representing ATS, Doğa Kayalar-Polat stated that they were happy to organize such an event, as such events are not organized frequently before and thanked to ''Lazzoni'' for hosting the event.

The participants also had the opportunity to observe the products exhibited by the young Turkish designers. The event ended with Efe Kababulut, the CEO of “Lazzoni USA”, thanking all the participants, panelists and ATS for the organization of the event and one of the participants was given a present.
